Is it possible for the fathers to acquire the custody of their children? Im trying pretty hard to secure custody for my children and it already seems a lost battle for me.

Well, in states like Virginia, it is possible for the fathers to gain custody of their children. Since, the law no longer favors one parent over the other. Therefore, the parent who is trying to obtain the custody of their children is required to meet the same criteria as to what is in the best interests of the child.;)

Hi,
I think laws of various places are different. As far as my opinion goes, the father cannot get the custody since he will not be able to take care of the child properly.What I can make out is that is entirely the court's discretion to grant custodial rights to the parent whom they think is able to take care of the child in every possible way.
