It could be of any form or any activity that a person repeatedly engaged and is negatively affecting other priorities. With regards to sex addiction, I think this will often lead to a 3rd party or cheating issue. For as long as the level of addiction is still within controllable stage then there’s no problem about it but if it is already the one that is controlling you then that’s a big problem.
