You are the CP if you've got the child's custody obviously. The NCP is the one making the visit, who has not got the primary custody of the children, the one who's required to make payments under an order for child support.
The NCP will be cut off from all visitation only in the most extreme cases. Supervised visitation may be ordered if the NCP has a substance addiction (in your case there's alcohol) or history of abuse to the child/children.
These are called Supervised visitation monitors. They can be "nonprofessional" like family members or friends on which both sides agree, who are not paid. They can also be "professional,", these are paid monitors. They are however supposed to be neutral.
