hi all,
My lawyer asked me if I want legal custody or child custody of my children. I didnt know what to say as I really dont know the difference between the two. Can you please give me some idea on these terms of custody, please. Last edited by genie : 12-06-2005 at 04:46 PM.

hi,
I can tell you what legal custody means as I have just got legal custody of my children. As per the law, legal custody means the name given to the legal relationship a parent shares with a child and in whose custody the child is. Child Custody.
hi,
On the other hand ,child custody actually means that a particular parent has got the custody of the child and in whose hands all the responsibilities of the child lie.
