I did not really know where to put my question, but since I saw some threads about homosexuality in this section, I decided to put it here. I'm sorry if ever it is in the wrong section.

Anyway, I would like to know why it seems more easily "acceptable" and seen to have two girls dating each other than two guys? Am I right when I say it seems to be like that? If it is, what do you think could be the reasons easier acceptability for girls' homosexuality than guys'?

The real question would be: Is it really true that female homosexuality is more accpetable than male's? That question is a little bit weird and uncommon. Have i really understood it?

you mean why are lesbians more accepted? well, i never saw it that way. i don't think that lesbians are more accepted than males being together. depends where you are and the surrounding circumstances

i don't think lesbians are more accepted. and anyway, how far homosexuals are really accepted in our society? many say that they do not mind homosexuals or totally accept their way of living because they are entitled to it, but are they being honest? truly honest?

and back to your question, i don't think that lesbians are more accepted. i just think that women homosexuals come out of their secrecy more often than male homosexuals. so we seem to see more lesbians than male homosexuals. but that doesn't make them less 'accepted'. it might just mean that fewer of them reveal their sexual orientation.

You’ve said it right. Girls are more open than guys but that doesn’t mean that there is a difference.
Or maybe it is the male mind that works like that. I mean, a guy would really criticize male homosexuals while a girl would not. Is it not so?

whatever the sex, as long as they love each other, they should be free to do so. what’s the use of judging other people’s sexuality when everything is already so complicated? i mean, heterosexual couples are not perfect so why look for imperfections in homosexual couples? they should be left free to do what they want and the legalization of homosexual couples is a really good thing as they can also experience marriage.

it is possible that the males fear the reactions of their male counterparts more than females would fear the reactions of their female counterparts
