When i was a little girl, i used to pee in bed at night until the age of 10, is it a normal thing? Are there ways to stop this? Is it hereditary? I'm worried cause i don't want my child to do the same thing. Even though i'm not married yet, i need to be aware of these kind of things so as to be completely prepared to be a mother. Is it more frequent for boys or girls to pee in bed? Until what age is it normal to do it? What are the factors that lead to this? I know i ask many questions, but i'm really worried

My daughter sometimes had an accednet but stopped around 3-4 years old. I dont know she just stopped on her own... Sorry that i cant be more of help, I just really urgered her to use the bathroom and if we were on a car ride she learned how to keep it in! (Unless it was an REALLY big emergancy!)

You may take the child to the counselor if he still pees in bed after 6 years old according to me. The child may be affected somewhere, any precise point of views please?

Children normally stop bedwetting as they grow older. At the age 5, up to 20% of children still wet the bed at night.
I saw it's more common in boys than in girls.

Peeing in bed occurs mostly because the child sleeps too soundly and is sort of not conscious that his/her bladder is full. Traumatic events or any psychological stressors can also be the cause of this. There can also be some medical causes like diabetes, urinary tract infections etc.

What about the one who still pee in bed at 12 to 13 years old like capuccino, is that normal? Do they have a serious problem? Obviously capuccino is very affected, that is why he reacts like that lol

to Maėva!! You're so perceptive!! Teen Capucci pees in his bed! Teen Capucci pees in his bed!! By the way, thanks for your support on the poem thread!! Ok no prob I'll call you if ever I'm short of nasty poems and words!!
Normally, as from 5 years old, at each year of maturity, the percentage of people bed-wetting declines by a percentage. Those who continue bed-wetting are called "enuretic" I think. Some causes of bedwetting could be psychologic, genetic and familial factors, sleep disorders, and something we call "arginine vasopressin" (that is a human hormone mainly released when the body is low on water. This causes the kidneys to conserve water by concentrating the urine and reducing urine volume )

Aaaw my dear friend capuccino, you are sick. I would have never thought that such a tough man like you could have such problems. Anyway, we still love you on here, you are great and your jokes are great.

Cherry B don't be rude with capuccino, he may be weeping in the toilet now

I'm just joking, Bergisten, don't worry. I appreciate him a lot (sometimes, shall it be clear).
So, Capuccino, you weep in your toilets but pee in your bed? It would be better the other way round! I'm kidding again. You see, Capuccino, what I find nice from Bergisten, is that, although you tease him (more often very nastily) a lot, he likes you for real and cares for you!
