Tell me something first - why is it that you dont believe in GOD?

Is there any incident which happened that compelled you to do so?

I have a friend - her sister passed away some years ago, leaving behind a husband and 2 children. My friend was all angry with GOD and she asked herself whether there is a GOD or not.

Indeed, there any many situations which makes an individual stop believing in GOD. Did you go through something like that? The more we believe in GOD, the most HE tests us.

I don't believe in god in fact there is no god...am not religious at all and i think people are spending a lot on church and temple for nothing....anyways this is my opinion and am happy the way I am..hey hardley you are not the only only one who does not believe in god there is load of people around the world that does not believe in God..

You have all the reasons which could prevent to beleive that there is GOD. You have the right to be an atheist. Nobody forces you to believe in such and such faith.

Then, I wish to ask you this question, where did you come from ? Don't you think that there is a supernatural power which has give you life.

We are not there to judge your beliefs!!You must have your reasons for saying so and we respect that.
But I would like know if you do believe that there's a power, someone above???What do you think about that?

i have read hundreds of books on religions etc..mainly the holy bible..i don't believe in god because there is too much versions and different stories about god..only one book would be good but people invented and add so much things that i don't know who to believe...so i pushed out religion out of my life

my family is very religious and we used to go to the church every Sunday...the bible was my story book at that time...but willing to know more about the bible,i found so many books that i started to read one by one each week...i discovered terrible things in these books and also lots of details missing in the bible...so, more questions were to be asked..

hello harley, well, to say whether God believe or not, it all depends at times on the place where you've brought up, if whther or not you belive in religion, the society to which you belong. many youngsters do not believe in God, while others believe in godS. it all depend on your belief and to what extent you maybe believe in science. many things are explained scientifically, but there are some such things that even science cannot explain ..some things that seem to be a miracle..so, does a Supreme still not exist??

Believing in god or not is one's wish. Many people around the world does not believe in god, they are happy and they lead a normal life. Personally yes I believe In god and i have freinds and colleagues who does not believe in god they say they don't want to waste time with all these things.

I do not believe in a god because:

1.There is no scientific evidence for any 'creator' or angels.

2.The 'holy bible' is made up of short stories, written in the exact same manner of ancient myths, which they are. Anyone who reads the old testament can see this.

3.The idea of a god that knows everything that will happen in one's life, therefore knowing which ones will sin and go to hell, therefore creating souls just to be tortured for ever, is absurd.

4.There are many religions, Hinduism dates before Judaism. Buddhism is a pre-text of Christianity, created 500 years before, Islam is a rehash of Judaism and Christianity, and the Mormon religion is just embarassing.

I really try not to offend anyone, but people need to open their eyes the the truth and not just what they've been indoctrinated to believe.
