I describe myself as a loner, who escaped into the bush on my horse at every opportunity.
I remember suffering from nightmares and being afraid of the dark.
I have also suffered from what my family called "hallucinations" after my mother passed away.
I would sometimes find her standing as still as a statue staring into space, i feel really scared of my day dreaming!
I there a way i can get out of these day dreaming?

Have your phobias disappeared now? If so, how did you cope with them? I remember being afraid of the sea when i was a child lol I'm still afraid of swimming Maybe you're not dreaming, maybe you really see your mother in front of you sometimes. Are you really scared of what you see? Do you believe in spirits? What is your point of view? Maybe your mummy has a message for you ... You shouldn't be afraid, try to understand what's happening first would maybe be a good idea first

Very nice thing you wrote What does your mum stare at in space though? Maybe she wants to go in heaven and she can't

Don't be afraid or scared Pixie, my mom is not a ghost to hurt or to kill people!
She doesn't scare me at all, sometimes i rush to her to hug her, but she disappears!

First of all, do you think all psychology students are the same? Why are you comparing? Do you think that if your friends are all gay, i should be gay as well? Who said that i study psychology? I did 3 yrs psychology and now nearly 4 yrs psychotherapy, do you want to prove something again? I'm into a lot other incoherent things, i can give you a long list if you want to enquire.

maybe these are ot hallucinations. you have still not been able to accept the fact that your mother is no more and you have kept her alive in your mind. in that way you can see her when others cant. you are so attached to her that you dont want to accept reality. just try to let things a bit lose. you are not ill or something. just try to be easy on things and you will see that it will be better
