In your opinion do you think that dating is a commitment or mostly leads to intimacy. Share your views

i think it has a little bit of both, however it is not such a bit commitment but we have to be loyal towards the person we are dating.

Intimacy in dating it is part of it.

no absolutely not. Dating is not a commitment. Not at all. It is mostly flirting, a fling which migh have triggered by a physical attraction

dating cannot be considered as a serious coz at this stage the two individual are still knowing each other, so i won't say it's a committment

I know the inferrance of comitment is voluntary and willfulm but I feel that, definitionally, it reffers more to the actions of being commited than the mindset or will.

Intimacy, on the other hand is something that, at least in my mind, is impossible to acheive without a real closeness.

i have dated my wife for 2 years and then we got married after those two years. We have had a lot of intimacy during the dating period, which in my opinion is a very good thing coz we understand each other much better as husband and wife.

I think there's dating that's getting to know each other and dating as a couple. The first has no commitment, while the second has. Intimacy may begin at any time depending on the persons involved.

Intimacy should come later when there is already a commitment between the couple.

I think commitment and intimacy must come together. But there is also some level of intimacy during dating.

Dating can lead to a commitment but there can also be some intimacy during dating. There's no exact definition for this really.
