Hi Everybody,
I was working in a multinational firm. Six month ago my job has been terminated along with several other employes. When we have filled a case against this in court, court had ordered our company to pay us wages for child support. I fear that what happen if all of sudden, my ex employer refuses to pay wages for child support. I am still unemployed and that is the only source of income. Hi Tanya,
Don't bother about it. As court has ordered them, your ex's employer does not have a option. Since, Federal law dictates that an employer must withhold wages if ordered by a court to do so I don’t think there should be any problem. However if your ex employer refuses to pay then you can complain regarding it in court and company have to pay fine for that. Last edited by tina : 11-18-2005 at 10:22 AM. |

Hi Tanya,
I am agreeing with all of them. As u have mentioned that court have ordered your ex employer to pay u wages for child support, i think they are legally bound to pay u. However they are refusing to pay or delaying in doing so then u can complain regarding it in court. I think u will get compensation in that case. So don't worry regarding this. hi...i agree to all the comments here...your ex company has no choice but to pay you...however, this may take some time so if you could try to find some alternative income try to do so...
