As some advice to people, make sure you know what you need before you actually get it.

I was told I needed to talk to a shrink a.k.a. psychiatrist when I was told I'm "depressed." However, I didn't end up needing a psychiatrist at all, I needed a psychologist, who is a doctor who deals with human behaviour etc whereas a psychiatrist looks more from the medical side. Make sure you're not wasting your time and money on something you don't actually need!

Yea dat's right! Many people do not know the meaning between these two, but there's also another P: Psychoanalyst. I'll tell you the exact difference between those 3 Ps:

The PsychiatristA psychiatrist is a physician who deals with mentally ill patients. Psychiatrists are MDs, so they can prescribe medication. As a result, they usually deal with clinical issues such as schizophrenia and manic-depression whose treatments tend to require medication.

The Psychologist
Psychologists, unlike psychiatrists, are not MDs, and they tend to deal more with emotional issues than with clinical issues. For example, a person experiencing low self-esteem would visit a psychologist rather than a psychiatrist because they do not have anything physically wrong with them; they just need to talk things out. A person with schizophrenia would visit a psychiatrist because they would need medication to correct the chemical imbalance in their brain.

The Psychoanalyst
Psychoanalysts follow Freud's theories that painful childhood memories contained in the subconscious are the cause of mental illness. Psychoanalysts are like psychologists in that they usually deal with emotional issues and do not prescribe medication. However, their approach is different from that of conventional psychologists. Psychoanalysis is a method of searching through a person's subconscious memories for the source of their current difficulties, rather than focusing on conscious memories. Psychoanalysts also tend to meet much more often with their clients. Rather than meeting only once a week (as is common with psychologists), they usually prefer to meet as often as three to five times a week.

Now you should know better whom to choose! Good luck!!

Talking I wish I was a "living dictionnary"
It would have saved me time to go on the net or library!! I had those notes on mental doctors when I did my degree on psychology. That's what I copied and pasted over there! I hope it helps

Einstein's theory of relativity has still not been put to it's best use. there are still aspects about it which intrigue scientists. In Conneticut, a professor has even designed a machine to time travel, he's looking for funds to finance the project.
maybe, time travel is scheduled for this century

This gonna be the hit of the century if a time travel is made possible. There is no module like this in psychology, but wen I'll find some information about time travel, I'll be in a better position to answer you Miss Pinky. Hey Isabel, datz a gud news about the scientist..yea, it's surely going to cost MONEY to finance this project
