Break up always is bad..as it suggests itself!! you sure gonna be shattered!! but you can't hold on and keep mourning..you have to move forward..to forget the past and to compromise..that's how you then mature and see what was wrong with your previous relationship and see life on a new light!!

I am going through a divorce right now. And I think that at first I thought, this is the worst thing that ever happened to me. I am going to be all alone. I have to raise a child without him to support me. What am I going to do all day? I can't live without him.

BUT! after the first week of separating from him. I realized that I can make it! I dont need to be in a relationship with someone who lies to me all the time and who I can't trust. I deserve better than that.

So I think that breakups are a good thing. That hard part is just getting through the first couple weeks. and after you realize there is life after him, And that you dont neeed him. Then everything starts getting brighter!

After she had his child, he basically wanted nothing to do with my sister. My mom remarried afterwards.

My sister, also ended up being in an abusive relationship, and she was smart enough to get out of it quick (about a year into the marriage). I always hated that guy, but it's nice to see people finally standing up for themselves!
We always say that children repeat their parents errors and in the case of your sister, it is really true, but fortunately for her, she found a way out of it.
Other people in her situation might have reamined the victim being too afraid to move on...

Yeah, it’s cool. But I think that your sister knew what happened to your mum and the thing that your mum wanted to do nothing about her, she prepared herself for the type of situation lived by your mum and she was able to react when she saw that this story was going to be repeated for her.

The experience lived by your mum has been useful to your sister..but the thing about your mum did not want to do nothing about your sister is very harsh..your sister may have been felt rejected by her..but on the other hand it helped her in a way and she has been able to defend herself..

Your mum didn’t do a good thing by ignoring her daughter..just because she is also the girl of that man who was a bad person..she needs love..i am sure that she loves her mum very much even if she neglected her..living without mothers love is hard but I think as you are her brother, you gave her the love she needed..

The story was going to be repeated. That was going to be terrible for your sister to live that bad experience of life your mum had. By chanced she noticed what was going on with that guy and reacted quick. Otherwise she would have been like your mum and have a stone heart.

Hey, what a situation..a big bravo to your sister..she had been intelligent enough to escape from a situation like this..it terrible that your mum let your sister apart..all mothers do have feelings for their children even if passed through an experience as your mum did..i hope that your sister is doing well now..
