If i say take control instead of take care to my wife, she would really be happy and take control of everything all so i prefer to continue to say take care!

I would use the word ""Take care"" with someone i really care for,
""take chance"" to encourage someone to participate in a competition,
""take charge,"" i use this word everyday with my assistant
When my director won't attend the meeting, he phones and tells ""take control""
