My mom has been married for over 28 yrs just 2 yrs ago she found out that my dad was cheating on her. He left her soon after. He hardly ever kept in touch after moving in with the other woman.My mom cannot afford her bill now that she doesnt have that extra income. She now wants a divorce but doesnt know what to do. Does any one have some advice?

If she doesnt have the money to afford bills, how will she pay for a divorce? My drecent divorce cost me over $5000 for lawyers and other costs. Although she might be entitled to benifits from her husband, she need to figure out the pros and cons of a divorce.

I can understand what your mother is going through right now. She can easily take legal help to sort out this mess. However , a legal action would involve lots of money so make sure that your mother is financially well off to incur that . Moreover she can also opt for out of court settlement or go through mediation if she wants to. Atleast ask her to go and speak to alawyer........
