If she already knows he doesn't want to get married, she will get a big "No!" if she asks him. It sounds like he is a momma's boy and is very attatched to his mother. Maybe he will never be ready to get married? Then have to talk about it.

No, I think it should be the guys job. I know that probably sounds old fashioned, but what girl wants to be rejected like that if he is not diggind her.

I think it is a guy's right, and we should let them have one thing that is just theirs. Not to say in the future it won't be that way, but right now let them have that.

He is control by his mum...i had a similar problem....she can ask the guy if he will marry her or not..if yes when?? if not better your friend forget that guy...actually i had a very bad experience i proposed by bf first but i regret it now..in evrything its always me who must make the first step....he is stick to his mum like glue

I say find a way to make the bf a rebel and get married if they really love each other... but if he feels that now is not the right time then at least let them get engaged...
